Rural Enterprise, Farm Diversification & Cooperation

Ayrshire Coastal Pathways

After significant investment into community-based projects across rural Ayrshire, the funding available for community projects is currently fully committed. Over £2.5 million of LEADER grants have been committed to exciting, new and community-enhancing projects, what’s more, through this investment, an additional £2.7 million has been levered in as match-funding – that’s an incredible £5 million plus into rural Ayrshire since 2015!

But we are not finished with investing in Ayrshire yet, we still have funding available for farm diversification, rural enterprise and cooperation projects.

Single farm businesses are eligible to apply with a maximum award of £45,000 or 50% of eligible costs, whichever is the lesser.
